Steve Robertson Associate Director joins CCTech to run the Service Division, with more than 25 years’ experience he is recognised as one of the leading experts in the field of laboratory containment. He is eminently qualified to advise, having attained Chartered Chemist and Occupational Hygiene qualifications, the latter related to the examination, testing and design of Local Exhaust Ventilation. Steve has been personally responsible for the delivery of fumigation services to more than 100 laboratories and has also advised and provided consultancy to support regulatory bodies with respect to guidance notes and other regulatory criteria.
In order to comply with the requirements of COSHH regulations and specifically the HSE publications “The management, design and operation of microbiological containment laboratories” & “Sealability of Microbiological Containment Level 3 and 4 Facilities”, CL3 and CL4 laboratories must be inspected annually at no more than 14 month intervals.
